I'm not able to find some video of the real car. Just want to know if, in real life, the driver is located so far from the windshield?
Actually, when you compare the cockpit view of the Mc Laren 650S (where your nose almost touches the wheel ) and the cockpit view of the Nissan 2000RS the difference is huge and I'm wondering if it is not a little bit to exaggerated?
I've notice on a few cars the fov's are abit extreme one way or the other. Are we able to adjust fov's for each car on a file somewhere? or allow us to configure the fov on the go instead of going into the menu all the time please..
I *think* that has (at least in part) to do with the new driver model that is used in the newer cars, camera seems to sit up closer, has to sit closer.
Sorry to come back to this, but regarding the Mc Laren 650S if you compare R3E default driver pos with AC auto pos driver's eyes pos then with R3E we are very very close to the wheel. Who is wrong between R3E and AC?
In general, that's the sollution. But like I said above, you can only do that to a degree before clipping into the new driver model. Who's wrong or right....Idk, surely would like to find out myself by taking the car on a joyride irl. What I can tell you is that I've asked for a sollution for the clipping into the driver model part, like making it invisible when in cockpit view. Not sure if they can do it, but the request is up there.
