Since today's hotfix replays do not load properly anymore. The replay loads and the car's display reacts to the keys assigned to toggle the pages, but there is no replay controls appearing. Yesterday everything was still fine. See attached video for the effect. As the replay mode cannot be quit without the controls, Raceroom has to be killed using the Windows Task Manager when this happens.
Same for me, thought it might have been due to changing my graphics card maybe, but if there are other people with the same problem I guess thats not the case.
I got the same Issue since Yesterday.Well the Problem is now,how can Commisioner's judge over incidents in a R3E League and how can the Driver's share there Point of View if a incident happens... Hopefully this will be fixed "Very Soon" k:C
Before they fix it, you can bind all controls in keyboard options. Using Free Cam allows to move camera (hitting the key several times go through different Free Cam mods -car dependent or not-). There's also keys for playing speed, pause, revert playing, zoom, angle...
Ah, I was just looking for a possible solution. Guess I'm not the only one affected, then. Had to bind the replay controls to keys and use that. And as far as leaving the replay mode, the only option I've found is either terminate the game through Task manager or closing the game window if running in window mode (which has the interesting effect that the UI appears as soon as the question whether you really want to quit the game pops up, but if you click No, it disappears again).
Where did you bind the replay controls? I browsed the controller settings, but did not find anything like play or pause.
I don't have the game on this computer, but it's more about "speed control" than "play/pause", somewhere close to the camera key bindings.
Camera controls can be set in the secondary controls menu (even though they're somewhat confusing), and playback can be controlled by default using left Ctrl and left/right arrow (repeated presses change speed and/or direction).
