tearing my hair out here....have reinstalled fresh in steam, still no change. Used to work when i tried the game last year. Really want to play again as the ranked racing looks awesome. IS there something i need to switch on in a text file somewhere? here are the current settings: FFB Gain="1.0" // Strength of Force Feedback effects. Range 0.0 to 1.0. what does that mean. EDIT - no i cannot do that, i don't have a simucube. i have a discovery board. Also it should work......... anyone else?
i have an IONI board, simucube firmware only works with simucube... i've only just realised this now unfortunately, i've completely messed up my osw. Brilliant.
well, it worked lol. so thank you. i had to reflash my OSW, sorted out that mess - tried my profile again, did not work. Loaded up your profile, i now have FFB. i'll have to compare the 2 files to see why on earth my profile was not loading any ffb!? EDIT: So the answer is - all 4 of the Wave type parameters in the .rcs file need to be changed to 0 for SINE, not just the first one. That's why the FFB was not working.
