Surely this car should be GT2 - not GT3?

it's (was) cometing the cars of SP9 Class(GT3). So it's perfect where it is.

"On September 2009, Glickenhaus announced his intention to race a new version of the P4/5 in the 2010 24 Hours Nürburgring. The car, called the P4/5 Competizione, would not be a conversion of his road car but instead an entirely new car with a Ferrari chassis, VIN and drivetrain. On May 2010 however, it was revealed that the Competizione would in fact be raced in 2011, based on a 430 Scuderia. It would be built to FIA GT2 standards and raced by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus in an Experimental Class under the direction of Paolo Garella, former Head of Special Projects at Pininfarina." - Wikipedia

There will be a GT2 version of the car as well. That will happen when we have the time to revise the GTR2 class physics and bring them up to current quality levels.

it was SP-X class, so yeah.. it's like SP9 (GT3) but it is not allowed to compete in GT3 class in real life because it is not homologated, there's only 1 p4/5 competizione existing.. so yeah.. as a manufacturer you also need to produce a certain number of cars (street version) in a year of your GT3. So a "Prototype" cannot be homologated.
The manufacturer sends their homologation catalogue to the FIA which reviews it and then says "ok officially homologated" or "nope, try again". The homologation catalogue includes every detail of the car, every screw, the transmission, the gear ratios, the springs and dampers, the engine (it must be from the street legal car but can be modified).. everything. And they must use a certain amont of parts from their streetversion in the GT3 car.
And when it's homologated (you get homologation for several years.. for example the BMW Z4 GT3 is homologated until 2019, the new M6 GT3 until 2023) you are not allowed to change anything .. not even gear ratios or dampers.. you are only allowed to change strength of springs and dampers in their usual range, the camber, toe, caster as well.
So if your GT3 car is homologated by FIA.. you're basically stuck with it until the end of homologation :-D

So that's why it normally shouldn't be in GTR3 class becauce in real life it's not homologated for it because it's the only one existing.

But I don't mind if it is in GTR3 tbh :D
