Pause issue

Hi, I seem to have an issue occur where if I pause a race when i click to resume it puts me in my pit box and I resume in last place, anyone else have this problem?

 

Known issue I'm afraid. When you want to pause the game, don't press pause, press instant replay. It'll pause without dumping you back into the pits

Be careful, sometimes using the replay teleports me to another place on track.

 

You even can use instant replay after hitting pause.

Can I teleport myself during an MP race? Lets say 100m infront of the 1st driver?

 

I have this problem regularly it makes me hesitant to pause the game in case i get put back in the pits. Wasn't so much of an issue with shorter races but now we can run longer ones it is more of a problem. Imagine doing 1 hour plus of racing then pausing only to find yourself back in the pits!

 

The fact that it hasn't been fixed is worrying though.
A game like this should be pausable without workarounds imho, its an annoying feature.

 

I recently ran into a similar issue. I paused a race but when I tried to resume the game didn't put me into the pits but somewhere else on the track standing still. I was lucky no other car hit me but I was also unlucky because I was completely back in the grid again.

 

Yeah, I think it has a habit of transporting you to the place you spawn if doing a hotlap/time trial.

Guy above is correct that it's worrying this hasn't been fixed, it's a pretty huge bug for something to have.
