Odd situation, practicing pitstops at qualifying at spa, 90 minute race online.
My third practice time thru while tires were being changed a decided to go into setup and make another pitstop preset just for fuel only. Hit escape, raceroom locked up, computer went black had to hard reboot.
When I rebooted went into steam, no raceroom, all other programs are still there. Look for raceroom in backups for steam, not there.

Is this a repeatable problem? It will take me more than a week to re-download raceroom from steam, I am on WiFi thru my phone (phone is my hotspot). Super bummed right now, I wanted to do the 90 minute spa race.

Gt3 cars, I was using the merc sls
I had a simple preset pitstop for tires and safety fuel
Hit escape when tires are being changed
    Froze program
No raceroom on return into steam.

    Hope that helps

    Wow, that's strange.

Do you have R3E in your steam installation folder? Usually in
    Code:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience

Yes, I see it in there. Know how I can make steam see it?

Mmmh, maybe try reinstalling it? Steam will see the files and probably not download them again.
That's what I read on other forums. And I think it was also the case when I reinstalled Windows but still had the content of the Steam games.

I don't think that will work for me. I have a ssd c: drive, it only has 11 gigs to spare, the installer will not start without the proper amount of storage, I thought it asked for 33gigs

I don't want to delete that folder to clear up the space. I have a 2terra bit e: drive, steam does not want to use it though, not sure why...

Can't you temporarily move 22 GB?

Otherwise, try maybe copying the install files of R3E to your E drive and point Steam to it?
Maybe, Steam will agree with that

I'm not sure how, I was looking into that a couple weeks back. I'm not positive about 1.5 years back, I think that was how I had it set up. When I got the newest raceroom update I was not able to do it though.... it's probably one of those old man things:p

That could be the replays, they really mount up over time.

It was set for c: drive, I now have it set for e:. I figured that much out. Unfortunately it's going to take about 5 days of me leaving my cell phone here and letting the download happen... it took almost 3 weeks the last time... I do need my phone for work, and such... so, racing in raceroom will be suspended for some time now...

but what happens if you copy the Raceroom folder into the E drive? Steam will normally detect it and not download everything again.

I'll try, not much to lose. I was worried about the file structure, right now I only need to download 1 program, I don't want to do 8.
