Do we have a resident Controller expert? I just received a raceroom pc controller (for the times I'm too lazy to setup the wheel/pedals). I need help with the throttle/brake/steering sensitivity. Steering behaves like a keyboard input (very jerky). Throttle/Brake doesn't seem to give me 100% unless I press EXACTLY in the middle of the button. If I press the button, FULLY, but just off to one side or another, I only get about 30% throttle/braking. Is this by design? I saw someone elses' post regarding using different software drivers for the controller. Any other software drivers I could use to smooth out the inputs for Raceroom? Thanks for any help.
You mean this? https://www.raceroomstore.com/shop_de/list_page?cat=16 Have no experience with that particular pad but with a "regular" pad with analog sticks. I'm using these settings: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/controller-profiles.883/#post-9517 Steering sensitivity works best (for me) when set to 0, this gives you the best accuracy with small inputs. Analog sector sensitivity is important. With the new physics I had to lower these to 1.2/1.4/1.6 and return multipler to 1.5.
