Hi, I just noticed that raceroom wont start anymore, the .exe file is just hanging there doing nothing. There was an Windows update two days ago but RR has be open since then, last night actually and today there seem to be more users having the same issue on steam forum. I did a file check in Steam which found no errors and no other games in Steam seem to suffer from this issue either. Edit: There is an error message in Steam launcher saying that there was an error updating raceroom (program is already running). It isn't I made sure of that, the error comes after a full reboot/logon so theres nothing running. Could my username be stuck as online and I will therefor not be able start? I tested with with firewall off and reset the router aswell without any change. Win10 64, 16Gb ram, Nvidia 1060 6Gb
It might be due to a driver update: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/help-me-sector3.7805/ Apparently audio drivers cause this problem, so you could check whether Windows downloaded a driver update in the last few days.
Yes it seems its the Nahimic 2 drivers that cause problems, uninstalled and it works nicely again. Thank you
