True, but Eurosport is also the promoter for the WTCC, which is not the case for Giro and Roland Garros. It looks like they are shooting themselves on the foot with this one.
Which probably speaks volumes about the actual TV viewing figures for any form of motorsport that isn't F1. In the end, if Roland Garros and the Giro d'Italia are seen as bigger events by advertisers then they will be given priority. It pays the bills for Eurosport.
Tbh, WTCC is kinda minor series in motorsport as a whole, while Giro d'Italia and French Open are on of biggest events in cycling and tennis.
