Problem Repeated “TC preset messages”

I have a Mclaren Fanatec wheel and now have one of the rotary encoders mapped to traction control. It seems to work ok, except that I am repeatedly getting messages popping up, telling me that “TC preset 3 is selected” or something similar to that. I have tried MPS on Pulse and Constant, seems to make no difference. Driving me a little crazy - any ideas please?

Yes that's correct. I have the left hand rotary mapped to TC. It works, but i keep getting these messages flagged up telling me what TC preset is selected. Annoying..

 

Can you please swap to the right hand switch and see if they stop? It did for me.

 

OK I will give that a go when I get a moment - thanks. At work right now though. Super annoying as I have the rotaries labelled with a Dymo as that's how I have them set up in ACC!

 

OK I checked it out, for me it's the same problem whether I use the left or right encoder :-(

 

Well that shot that theory in the foot. Lol

 

What firmware are you both on ?

 

Wheelbase is 658
Wheel is 30.
