Resolved Scheduled Dedi dont start

    Hello Guys,

    we have a problem with our dedi server. It recently stopped starting at the set time. Does anyone know the problem and may have a solution?

    Hi,
    I've just tried with one of our dedi and it worked in schedule mode.
    I did the Schedule Repeat and it worked as well, but there were no player on it.

    Solved.
    If at some point your server does not start automatically, you have to close steam via the taskbar.
    Closing it with the window x-button only minimizes steam.
    Then restart everything, then it worked again on our server...

    You don't need Steam for the dedi at all. You can copy the exe to any Windows Computer and run it completely without Steam. Seems more likely to me that the restart of Steam triggered an update to the dedi which in turn solved the problem.

    Yeah, I had the exact same issues with the scheduler not starting servers, but it was acknowledged and fixed in a patch some time ago. Haven't had this problem since then.

    Since we have an external dedi server running, your own pc is not relevant in this case.

    Solutions should be based on existing problems. Since we do not run the dedi exe on our own pc, your proposed solution is unfortunately not the target in our case.
    But that we are part of a community, so your solution may be helpful for members who are reading along... ;)
