    Hello,

in a practice session, with the Mercedes 190E Evo 2, I can shift (upshift or downshift) without using the clutch.
The H pattern is on and the Automatic Clutch is disabled.

So what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
You can do it, but you will get damage (if activated).

Should be enables but it seems in the leaderboard championship that the damages are disabled?

The Evo 2 (and many cars of that era) was equipped with a dogbox gearbox, which allows upshift and downshift without using the clutch, when rpm is in the right range. Missing the rpm range badly when downshifting will damage the gearbox. Not sure how a real gearbox of that type would behave when doing this, but they were designed to work without using clutch.

I usually do the upshifts without clutch, and then heel & toe when downshifting. I think this is also the way drivers did it back then.
