Problem Single player championship gone AWOL after update

I installed the update yesterday and booted up today and my single player championship that I was halfway through has gone missing. When I click the Championship button I'm not taken to the old screen where I could choose to load a save or start a new one, I just get taken straight to the screen where you configure a new season.

Is this intentional (i.e. no backwards compatibility with the new version)? Or is it a bug with the menu?

If it's the latter and I start a new championship I'm concerned that I won't be able to get to that one as well.

if dont, no

 

Okay I bit the bullet and tried it, old saves are gone but new saves can be loaded. Frustrating but not a game breaker.
