Its very easy to improve performance with the GTX 970 SLI. That is not the problem. When I use 0x00500005 as compatibility bits, the performance takes a huge step up. But the text and shadows will start flickering to a point where it becomes useless. I am still convinced that with basic SLI support, and seperate rendering on tripple screens, R3E would become visually awesome. Fingers crossed, because from a commercial point of view, such features are not very important for a developer.

I'm waiting for triple screen support before investing any money into the game. Project Cars was supposed to have it but still doesn't... regret purchasing that game now, I just have no desire to play a single screen sim when there are plenty of options out there that support triple screen. I had my RRE cart loaded up the other day but decided to hold out a bit longer. Rfactor 2 recently added proper triple screen support but I'm holding out a bit longer to see if RRE adds it.

I've just moved over to tri-screen and although not officially supported "WOW" so much more immersion and actually looking left/right is so lifelike (crashed a few times taking in the view), plenty of 3rd party s/ware out there to tinker if needed but just made sure drivers were installed as Admin and disabled full screen in game and gone without a hitch and I'm quicker because it's so much easier to hit apex's but most of all seeing the competition in all its glory is mesmerising.
    IMHO Well worth it!

Please add SLI support. It's necessary in 2016.
A lot of people have a double gpu equipped pc and they want to take advantage of their hardware and money spent,

So you only get 30-50 fps with a 980ti. Wow. Is this with everything on ultra etc.
I've got a very similar setup to yours with 2 gtx 770's in sli and get good fps with settings dumbed down. I was looking at the gpu you have but this worries me.

Disable your 2nd gpu in the Nvidia control panel next time you play R3E and see how this does.

Even with triple 1440p 165 Hz monitors, you should not be getting such low fps with a 980ti. Also, you may try turning off DSR if you are trying to run with that in R3E.

It's inconceivable that in the 2K16 a software house develops a game that doens't support a multi-GPU technology.
Wake up , how longe does we have to wait ?

Solved my SLi problems with Nvidia Inspector. But I'm in a smaller minority than most. :/
Please understand i have an obsession that started in the days of ZX81, Atari 2600 and BBC Micro.
    (yeah, I'm THAT old)

    How did you solve?
I also use Nvidia Inspector but no one of the profiles I used make the difference.

Yes if you wouldn't mind explaining how it works I would like to try it. And if you wouldn't mind sharing your settings , that would be great. I have 2 gtx 770's in sli.
    Thanks

Bear in mind this is a setup for 3 way SLi so you would need to change the GPU count to suit your rig.
Limit the framerate to something acceptable and play with the SLi settings.
My setup prefers single framerate but others may favour AFR or AFR2

So this will allow raceroom to perform better when using an sli setup ? What sort of framerate improvements did you get ?
