Absolutely, as it stands now there probably aren't enough users to make it feasible, but the game is gaining momentum all the time, so who knows what tomorrow brings. Again on a personal aside, I would probably rather run a race with two users of my ability, than a full grid of players who are much faster/slower than me.
I think this match maker idea is a good one if the tools necessary to make it happen can be made available. I agree that the relatively small current userbase will limit it's efficiency for now, but Stefan's suggestions of filters will let us loosen the restrictions so we can find more drivers. If it works well and is easy to use it could lead to a swell in online racers which is good for everybody. Once more people are using it maybe something like the Minorating system for AC can be implemented to help control the quality of the racing.
