I was driving a few laps on practice mode using the Audi GTO on the Sonoma Sprint layout, and I noticed in one of the laps that we get our lap invalidated on the last hairpin corner before the starting grid, simply by getting too close to the curb on the corner exit. Then I repeat it several times, including on chase cam so I could see better, and this happens without even touching the curb. Just getting too close to the yellow line on corner exit is enough to get a track cut. Don't know if this is normal or not, and using the search I couldn't find any other topic on this.
