Problem Steam Server Popup doesn't show on SRS App

Hello, I have this problem..hope anyone can help me out?

I have installed the SRS App on Raceroom following the exact instructions on the SRS website..program startup and register, select a car, all goes well..only if I hit the "join" button, even after refreshing, Steam doesn't send the invite to the SRS server.. Can anyone tell me what's going wrong? I've re-installed the app a couple of times, but still no luck..

I also can't buy any cars from the game portal..I have to exit the game and go to the external site, then log in again through Steam, "purchase succesfull" I have this problem since I've bought the R3E DLC years ago.. Maybe my account settings have something to do with it all? Need help please

make sure you dont have the check my content (or whatever its called ) box in the srs settings

Thanks for the reply, I have the "check content" turned off, but still no luck..the "join" butten doesn't seem to work..I don't understand..Is the path I use the correct one?
