As you can read on wikipedia there are or were 4 different Versions of the Aquila CR1.

Actually it seems we have the one with the M60 engine for the existing cup-car. That one is fine and should stay as it is (maybe with the newer physics in the future ? :) ), but I think there is room to close the gap between the cup-car and the P2 with a stronger version, similar to the reallife LMP3-class. Aquila also creates a version fo the CR1 with a GM LS3 (used in the Corvette and Camaro). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquila_Racing_Cars#CR1_LS3 This version is, from the specs, comparable to the LMP3. Maybe you can think about bringing this version as a Aquila Supercup or RRP3 Challenge or something like this into the game

This is interesting in regard to your forum join date, cause it was around that time (late 2015 iirc) when the Aquila got changed.
Before that update it had the LS7 550hp engine, but because it's one of the free cars and one of the first cars new users make contact with, it was decided that it should be less of a handful and since then it is indeed equipped with the M60 engine.

Not a bad idea to reintroduce the more powerful version, if it would fit into one of the existing classes. Not so sure many people would buy it as a Cup class, or if RR would be able to introduce it as additional free content.

There are other low powered free cars available now in RR, so just give us the 550bhp beast back that we didn't pay for!

    :p
Did talk to J-F about this, and he didn't poke my eyeballs like he usually does when he dislikes an idea, so maybe...
