Mid race I noticed a sudden glitch in the FFB with the BMW GT4
As soon as the car starts rolling; turning the wheel feels notchy at any speed (if I'm just rolling slowly or driving at full speed down a straight)

This just started happening; it was fine at the start of my evening

Testing so far has narrowed down the following
    • This notchyness is coming from the Steering Rack setting
      The more I increase it the more pronounced if feels;
At 100% it's bad; when set to 0@ it's gone (I have been using it at 75%

    • It's only happening with the BMW GT4
      All other GT4's are ok
I've tested a dozen other cars from different classes and at this stage it appears to be only the BMW GT4

    • This only just started happening with the BMW GT4

    • I have tried completely deleting my profile but the issue is still there!

    • I have done a "Verify Integrity of Game Files"

    • I'm using a fanetic V2.5 wheel base
    Any Suggestions?
It feels like I need to delete and reinstall the BMW GT4's ffb profile if it exists?

Passed this on. Seems strange indeed that only one car is affected.

With a bit more testing I think it maybe there a little on all the GT4's because if I turn up the Steering Force intensity to 100 I can start to feel it with the other GT4's BUT at my usual setting of 65 it's hardly noticeable

So that possibly says the BMW steering force intensity is stronger than the others?

If it's a notch around centre then the minimum force setting can cause that. Try lowering it. Anywhere above 5 will be bad.

Also check the car multiplier is default and try a default setup. Could be some weirdness from using an old setup.

Yup tried the default setup but that made no difference
Tried uping and lowering the car ffb multiplier and that just decreased or increased the effect as expected
My minimum force is set at and has always been set at 0

The notchy feeling is not justin the center, it's there all the time as turn right around; it's there as I turn the wheel; if I stop turning and hold the steering angle it's not there so it's only as I turn the wheel.

sorta like I'm using a rack and pinion steering and the teeth ain't meshing with the rack or like I have a couple of worn teeth LOL

At first I thought I had some sort of hardware problem inside my wheel!
But it's definitely not that thank god!

What wheel firmware and Driver are you using? Are you using the latest driver. I have the same wheelbase and never felt this, might just be something on my end. Will take a look when I can.
