Resolved Take my money!!

Since the last update I have been unable to buy cars/tracks. As soon I hit "confirm purchase" I get the spinning wheel of death. I left it spinning for 20 minutes but still nothing.

Maybe it's because you have enough money to keep you in drugs, drink and women already.

If this is not the case let me know what I can do for a fix.

That happened to me yesterday trying to buy the NSU through the in-game store. Never happened before, I eventually gave up and just bought through the web.

 

Portal. I didn't realise there was a web option.

I use the web. I have success everywhere, but I felt better using the web.

It happen for me too when I was trying to buy NSU using store in game, that have never ever happened once before and I have bought everything from within the game-store.. To buy the NSU I had to use the web-store...

 

As @Sean Kenney indicated it's probably safer using a computer with malware, spyware etc protection.

 

I only use computer would never lower my standards to a kidytoy(x)boxcomputerwannabee ....

 

Christian Göpfert posted on another thread that "steam-overlay" needs to be enabled for the in-game store to work.
I had totally forgotten that I had recently disabled steam overlay to see if it affected framerate, so in my case I'm pretty sure that's the cause.

 

Yes ofcause that's it, I used shop in game all the time and the one time it don't work is that I turned off the steam-overlay...
Great then that problem was solved
