    Hi,
is it possibile to automatically assign the right transmission according to the car, like, for example Assetto Corsa or IRacing?
For example, GT cars with sequential and '92 DTM with H manual?
That would bring a whole new level of practicity.

    Thanks

Assetto, Iracing, rF 2 do it the right way already. If a car has an H-pattern then your sequential shifter won't work, only the H-pattern and vice versa.
It's a little hassle to switch it everytime in R3E when you change cars. Can you please make it automatic?

I would also love to know whether it's a sequential stick or paddle shifter.

Ah is this why I can crash shift with my shifter? So I need a profile without the up/down shift assigned to make the clutch and shifter work properly.

    +1 for this request.
Bonus points if you let me assign different buttons for cars with stick sequential and paddle sequential.

@ArkHiver actually, rF2 do not. Hell the clutch is useless let alone default to H :D

    s/rF2/pCARS/ :p

what do you mean? you can have different profiles in games, I have 3: H pattern, sequential stick and sequential pad, offcourse if I'd want, I could use sequential pad in cars that have H gear in real

I mean that you should not have to deal with profiles. Assign the buttons and the game takes care of the rest with the proper configuration as in the real cars.

That needs you to keep constant back and forth to exchange profiles.
multiple assignments is "setup once, use many" :)

Agree, not only is it convenient, but it really adds to the immersion factor IMO when you just hop in and drive and the shifter works as it should based on the car. If I have to worry about settings/presets and figuring out what the real car even has, by the time I get to driving i've lost some of the immersion. And for me, immersion is what makes R3E so good.

    GT3 - Seq - Stick
    GT2 - Seq - Paddle
DTM'95 - H6 (Denotes H Pattern with number of gears)

    etc etc
