As you know, there is a button that enable time acceleration, usually by default T. There's a problem, mine doesn't work even if I change the button.
Is this for everyone, maybe something not implemented yet, or just a bug?

When I don't want to wait, I skip the session.

Don't know when you skip, is the rest of the qualifying simulated to the end? Most times you are on same place when skippping the session

When you skip it seems to end as it is.

Fact is that I don't think a time acceleration will make any difference today in the game.
IA mostly does it's best time in the very first laps of the session and almost never improve until the end.

they tend to get caught behind a slightly slower car that they cant overtake and just slow each other down in the attempt.

Indeed. But as they go all the session like that timings doesn't improve.
Rarely, one can do a better time.. Maybe because he lost the wagon ^_^

When you skip a session, the results play out based around a formula using statistics about the track and the driver ratings, but you get far more 'natural' results by allow the game to actually simulate it using the in-game engine (which accelerated time does).
