Servers disconnect you, no possibility to come back to the session you were disconnected, no possibility to swap drivers to allow actual endurance racing, no matchmaking, ... All the above weaknesses are not easy points to solve for one day to another, that's true. But there are many others things were RaceRoom can improve without so much effort, yes, from one day to another: - Create more than daily races, create regular championships by classes with a scheduled program of races, obviously ranked. -Allow and host "official" training sessions, were you can train and at the same time value your opponents skills to understand were are you in the roster. ... and why not, please pay this licenses to bring us Ferrari and Lambo, and some iconic tracks we lack as LeMans, Barcelona, Road Atlanta, ... (we will pay for them). And now we reach the point were we found explanations to this situations in the size (obviously not big) of the devs staff, not the quality (out of doubts), and the size of the company herself. And all of this connect with the economical model of the business. I have in others occasions propose to RaceRoom to switch to a mix model were can coexist a subscription model like in iRacing were paying a monthly fee allow the hard core player to use some quality services as structured competitions with attention to regulations and driver behaviours, all this in parallel with the current model that allow you to race with the content you buy in solo sessions or private leagues, and maybe in ranked races that unfortunately will be limited in functionality, as now, by low resources availability. This is not a breakdown with current philosophy, because you maintain the current model in addition to introducing an extra alternative.
