HELP! I just bought a Samsung CHG90 3840x1080 monitor and I can't figure out how to configure the resolution to fill the entire screen. Please help. I've been at this for hours and I'm getting super frustrated. Thanks in advance!
Did you chose the correct aspect ratio in the video settings ingame? Should be set at 32:9 in your specific case. Then your correct monitor resolution should be selectable afterwards. (The game only lets you chose of resolutions fitting the ratio you adjusted) Also be sure to have fullscreen or windowed fullscreen selected. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the quick reply! That IS the problem... 32:9 isn't an option I can chose. 4:3, 5:4, 16:9, 16:10 are the only options I get.
Hey you can try the following too: In your Documents folder there is the SimBin folder. In there should be a folder called RaceRoom (or similar). There you will find the folder UserData. In there is the graphics_options.xml. You can change your settings manually there. Sometimes it works. But as i could tell you cant change the aspect ratio there. So the shown picture will be messed up maybe.
