What is that quick beeping sound once in a while in a race? Sounds like a digital watch alarm. My guess is something to do with sector times but I can't verify that especially in VR. I don't see anything come up on the screen when I hear it.
Downshift Protection, you downshifted too early and risked to cause engine damage so the electronic override kicked in

That sound only occur on sequetial shifted cars. The tt is pretty sensitive on that, as it only allow downshifts at quite low revs. On cars like Group5 you'll hear the gears grind instead
