Since I noticed you guys are removing it from the store soon I decided to try it out again for the first time in a long while and the gearing ratio seems very wrong. All the gears are too short and there's no way to change them. There's no power in any gear because you hit the rev limiter on each gear long before your mind has even accepted the gear change. I don't remember the car ever being like this before. Going up Eau Rouge for example is terrible now because of this gearing. Why did it change?
Because it's in the category of a GT3 which have homologated gearboxes, and they don't have changeable gear ratio's.
Isn't that obvious ? They made the older cars slower in order to convince you to buy the new generation of Gt3 cars.
Hm, you should drive the alpina or sls now. If you need to drive with one of the new cars against the sls or alpina you know it will get tough...
In facts, with the old physics, the GT3 were a bit too fast compared to the real life. Now, we have something closer in terms of performance and behaviour with the new physics
It seems that there's also a problem with the fuel... During our last endurance race (Silverstone, 2h), all RUF drivers had to make, at least, 2 pit stop for refueling
But the call has only 110L instead of 120L which is a big disadvantage. It also seems to consume more than before the update
Maybe that depends on what track you are on ? Taking a look at Nordschleife they are now a bit slower than in real life. Well at least the older generation of cars.
