Everything I read about the online racing has been fairly positive but I cant even drive out of the pits.

I'm running a DD1 Podium Hub and HE Sprints. Can't get the wheel base to work without it being in Comp v2.5 mode (not sure Endurance buttons will work in that mode) and I can't get my pedals to work at all. Why is this such an issue?? iRacing, ACC etc have no issues at all.

Please help as I'm craving a better experience than I'm getting on iRacing at the moment.

Make sure Steam doesn't override the controls. Steam - Options - Controllers - Uncheck all boxes except the top one.

What rim are you using ?
For the pedals , rerun diview leave it on then bind the pedals

    You mean Steam-Settings-Controllers-General Controller Settings??

Yep just the top box is checked. It says the DD1 is detected twice down the bottom.

    Andi,
When you say re-run Diview what exactly do you mean?? Is it the "Renumerate the Devices"??

I have the wheel bolted to the wheel base so that it is solid. I'm not willing to unbolt and bolt on the wheel every time I want to play.

Di view is the setup/calibration tool for your pedals

Its one bolt and a quick release , worth a try .
That way it will i believe generate a device id , which will help us as we dont have every fanatec rim , and the rim gives the device id ,

No, Heusinkveld Sprint doesn't use the diview software. The Sprint come with Heusinkveld own software.

One question: have you opened the Heusinkveld software and can you see what you're doing with the pedals there?

And same with Fanatec. Opening the Fanatec driver, is there a rim attached on the screen picture and does it rotate when you rotate the wheel?

Use di view wether or not it is the correct software as this will work when all else fails

I'm running sprint pedals with no issues. Are they showing up correctly under Windows? (usb game controller panel)

If they are you should be able to re-assign them in game by double clicking on the brake input for example.

I have a similar issue with the my Fanatec BMW GT2 wheel attached to DD1, it works fine with the formula 1 wheel but whenever I switch to BMW wheel the game won’t detect the device.

Any idea how to fix this?

Have you created a profile for the BMW wheel?

Please let me know if I’m missing something.
I usually close the game before changing the wheel, when the game start I go to settings then Control setting and when I go to Controller Profile and it says device not detected in red and it is not clear to me how to take it from there.

It only worked once but the FFB did not work properly and when I restarted the game I got the same message in red.

the thing about fanatec is the wheels all have different ids ; so if you swap wheels the game sees a new controller
you need a controller profile for each wheel
