I would like to do a championship run of the WTCC cars starting at 2013 and going all the way up to the current 2019 TCR cars. The biggest issue I’m running into though is trying to find how these races work. I have seen they do two races but how long are the races, is a pit stop required, how is qualifying handelled, how do the grid up and is it a rolling start or stabding start? Any info would be greatly appreciated

This may help you for 2013: https://www.fia.com/sites/default/files/regulation/file/2013 FIA WTCC Sporting Regulations website- amended 18032013.pdf
Problems: Qualifying is a bit different in R3E, I would suggest to do 1 Single Qualifying for Race 1 and then for Race 2 'reverse grid' (but that only works for P1-P8)
Race distance can't be defined over km's in R3E, so do about 12 laps (thats the average of the races I could find of 2013) or do some races about 18-20 mins :)
I'll give you more information if needed
    Greetings
Edit: Another Problem: Only R1 is Rolling start, R2 is a standing start

This is perfect thank you! I know there are limitations with what can be done in R3E but if I can get as close to the spirit of the racing it will be great. Do you know did they do success weight?

Oh and thanks for the track tips! I was able to easily find a list though I did have the wrong layout of Moscow and The Japan race said rphry did twin rings but had also raced Suzuka in the past, so I choose full Suzuka

Any info is very welcome, thanks!

    EDIT:

Does anybody know a way to create and store custom rulesets to have them available in the drop-down menu?

WTCC 2014: Same race length, also two races and all the other things
EDIT: Sorry, big EDIT!!!: There are three shot Qualifyings from 2014 to 2017!!!
...but: Both on standing starts, as there aren't RWD in the new TC1 Rules
It's a bit complicated to get your full Grid as Citroen said farewell to R3E, so...
Do not use the Ai Multiclass selector, but do it oldschool with the 'Number of Ai opponents' selector and select 16.
All your cars and liveries (also Citroen, except your livery, of course) will then drive with you :)
    For the next WTCC seasons...
WTCC 2015 24 cars included, so select 23
WTCC 2016 21 cars included, so select 20
WTCC 2017 16 cars included, so select 15
    Hope this helps
    Greetings

WTCC 2016: A bit more complicated...
R1 has reversed grids and is as long as usual, R2 has the Qualifying Grid Positions and is a lap longer than R1 (afaik not Possible in R3E :/
    Your Circuits:
    Paul Ricard (Solution 3C)
    Slovakiaring
    Hungaroring
    Nordschleife (24h)

Same rules as before, but: R2 is now 2 laps longer than R1 (There is an exception for the Nordschleife in this case :) )

    Monza (GP)

WTCR 2018: You'll get BIG Problems with the Rules...
Qualifying 1 (Saturday, 30mins) will determine the grid for R1
Qualifying 2 (Sunday, I suggest 30mins) will determine the grid for R3 (and is a three shot Qualifying, can't be simulated in R3E)
R2's grid is reverse grid (Top 10, as usual) of Q2
    The tracks:
    Hungaroring
    Nordschleife (24h)
    Zandvoort (GP)
    Slovakiaring
    Suzuka (Full Course)
    Macao

    WTCR 2019:
Every regulation can be found here: https://www.fia.com/regulation/category/892
It is almost impossible to do the correct Qualifyings and races and so on in R3E (like WTCR 2018, almost same rules)
    Practice 1 (45min), Practice 2 (30min)
Qualifying on Saturday (one shot, 20 mins)
Qualifying on Sunday (three shot(Q1 20min, Q2 10mins, Q3 only one lap per driver)
R1 grid determined by Saturday Quali
R2 grid: Top 10 upside down of Qualifying on Sunday
    R3 grid: Sunday Qualifying grid

As this is 'a yoke!' and not possible in R3E, i would recommend the following for both WTCR seasons:
    Practice (75mins)
4-Shot-Qualifying (Last of them is a one try Qualifying as in reality)
R1 about 20 mins or however many laps you want
R2 about 24 mins with reversed grid

    Your tracks:
    Hungaroring
    Slovakiaring
    Zandvoort (GP)
    Nordschleife (24h)
    Suzuka (Full Course)
    Macao
    Sepang (GP)

    Greetings
