I play RRE since the Beta and alway could use my Xbox Pad without any issues.
I was detected by name and force feedback functioned.
Now, after setting up a Oculus Rift on my PC and setting up SteamVR, I got a yellow sign reading that I had to confugure a input controller since no compatible was found. WTF ?!
I had my Xbox Pad connected and it wasn't detected by the game anymore.
So I ran the Steam controler setup and still had the yellow sign.
When I start RRE no controller is detected but mouse and keyboard ?!
In RRE it only recognizes my Pad, when I plug in another Xbox ( a wireless or my PS4 pad per wire) Pad- then it recognizes my first wired Pad but not the other...
What has been changed ? Is it a Steam issue ? I don't think so, because Dirt Rallye and all other games run fine.
Did Sector3 use another Input library (Steaminput.dll instead of directplay.dll) ?

    Yes.
Windows and Steam detect it, but not RRE.

    try to delete this file:
    C:\Users\xxxxxxxxxx\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\device_statistics.xml

    +maybe: menu_controller_options.xml

In the same Folder clear also the Setups in the ControlSet Folder
in my Folder is there an: Wireless Controller Xbox One For Windows Custom.rcs

Then restart Steam and RaceRoom ... thats deletes your controller/Wheel/etc. Setting u have to configurate it new ... maybe the only way to fix it! ;)
