Pre-order started on Steam yesterday btw: http://store.steampowered.com/app/378860/Project_CARS_2/ 80€ for the Deluxe edition with 11% off. I think we'll be reaching the magical 100€ milestone in a few years for a new game.
The Deluxe Edition includes the Season Pass for every DLC, so basically that's the 'complete' package.
The Deluxe Edition also includes a Season Pass that will give buyers access to the four post-release DLC packs, as well as the Motorsports Pack, adding four more accomplished race cars to Project CARS 2’s vast racing roster. Well according to John over at ISR ( who didnt't like PC1) he was very impressed with the ffb and the new physics, that's a big turn around. I have to say the pricing is high and will cost them at release I think.

Wow. Just wow. If there is really a good physics enginge, i know what i am doing in Octobre. Maybe come back in summer 2018 to check if the C7 is meanwhile ready textured.
Aren't ISR paid reviewers? SMS have to charge a lot to cover the costs of paying said reviewers I genuinely do hope pCars2 is good, the original pCars was a huge disappointment for me.
I hope they'll have Sonoma. Long Beach looks amazing. With Pcars 2 and Forza 7 there's finally going to be a big selection of American tracks on the PC. No more driving Indycars in China
True. I like that track. Lucky to drive it in AMS, RF2 and AC (all mods). Whish pCars2 will also include it (there are still 'secret' tracks that have not been revealed yet). Anyway, just pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition. I liked pCars1 so for me there is not reason not to (unless oval racing would interfere too much in career mode) Just checked my Steam stats: AC: 709 hrs (mostly trying mod cars and tracks and useful apps, adding RL liveries etc... AMS: 211 hrs ProjectCars: 862 hrs (not counting around 950 hrs on PS4) R3E: 221 hrs RF2: 232 hrs pCars expensive ? Not for me. If I reach the same playtime (pCars 1 was cheaper) pCars 2 will cost me about 0,10 euro / hour ! Also interesting stat on Steam (maybe not completely relevant, but what stas are ?) pCars: 75% positive from 5.980 users, (I'd call that a "majority") Raceroom: 56% positive from 6.776 users.
That's a bit unfair, because R3E is a free to play title and if you look at the negative reviews, the majority of them are like: Played 0.1 Hrs This game sucks! Cars are undriveable with a controller, graphics are outdated and it's not even free! You have to pay for EVERY SINGLE CAR AND TRACK! Don't waste your time with it!!!!444!!
Which is why I wrote: "Also interesting stat on Steam (maybe not completely relevant, but what stas are ?)" I read some negative reviews on pCars, which mostly are just as laughable (not going to quote). BTW: only 5.980 users (while over a million copy's were sold after a few months... so there goes the relevance... @Dave R : I believe the season pass can be purchased seperately. @Eisprinzessin : there are 2 or 3 versions of Sebring. The one I have installed is pretty good (don't remember atm where I got it), the one from drmaboul02 at RD is (WIP) not that good (yet). But like any track in AC (vanilla or mod) it is not very "lively". I'll see if I can point out where I got mine.
Also if all the people with a negative opinion on Steam wrote a review on PC1 those stats would reverse, most voiced their opinions else where, alot of people can't be arsed to write reviews, stats on Steam really don't show the real feeling of most buyers. PC1 is dead, lets really hope for better things in PC2, and then look forward to GTR3 & Raceroom (upgrade)..
Beg to differ. pCars1 is far from dead im my book (and that of lots of other people I know). You should know too. Just look at the pCars forum activity. But I guess it will be as soon as pCars 2 hits the shelves, yes...
