While you can buy all this RR stuff now for that price, I'm well over 230 euro atm... which makes it easily my most expensive sim. I'm not in iRacing because that is even worse: you simply hire content there. Hold your subscription and you have nothing left...until you pay again, and again, and again... As for rF2 Sebring, it does not seem expensive, until you compare what you paid for the basic game, at least in my case since I bought it for 25 euro. It all could be better balanced imo... Just my 2 cts
No. Definitely not. $65 is a great price all in. It's just that when I was looking on the prices late last year I was seeing the individual price for each piece of content and somehow I didn't notice the all you can eat package (if it was there at all).
Yesterday i did a first try on the CARTfactor 98 Mod in rf2 and VR. Absolutely amazing. No setup and some problems keeping the car on the track after some years of GT3 driving, but pure fun.
Need a little help here: The display in the wheel is not working and the gear display is very glowy. I remember slightly, that it was an issue in RF1, too. Can it be solfed here? And how it is in general in RF2? If i take a abo in the workshop, is it automatically updated, if something was changed from the devs of the mod?
That's what you waste in some people opinion when you play computer games. <hide and run> Sorry it's Friday.
I read about "life time account" ore something like that, but hat noch choice when i bought it...Payed 30 EUR and finished.
Originally, rFactor 2's multiplayer was subscription-based, there was a yearly and a lifetime option to choose from. But S397 dropped that system after their takeover, now you only pay for the whole game once.
Hard to tell actually. The whole experience I guess, the VR experience so to speak. It is just not like Pcars or RaceRoom.. Edit: not forget to mention the absence of “lock horizon” in rFactor. Although I just heard they added a kind of horizon lock in steps of 30 degrees.
You can remove glow by disabling post processing in launcher video settings. There's a lot of rF2 content that is still not ported to DX11, but often is still usable with post processing off.
Is it only me that think that some car models are really small in VR in rFactor 2? Like driving GT style moped cars.. . Edit: Have this issue with both the GT and Endurance pack.
I've heard people complaining about world scale, but I never noticed that personally. Sorry for the obvious suggestion, but you tried adjusting seat pos, right? Edit: my FOV is 'Default' in VR.
Yeah it's not a seat thing. The whole car is off in scale.. (Also have fov at default) It's not all cars though. Som feels as they should, and the karts also feels good. The driver model is also tiny, feels like I'm a little doll driving, but I guess that is an easy fix with just having the wheel visible.
