Thx Art, wasn't aware of Georg's stream...but remember J-F mentioned that there's another patch in the pipeline already....so it's more than just a rumor....
I've noticed a little thing with Pitstops since this November-Update. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but in two occasions it happend twice for me. In both times it was a MP-Race with Mandatory Pitstops and I was driving the Callaway Corvette C7-R GT3. Both Times it was with autopilote in the Pits. On the Inlap I've requested the Pitstop, deselect Refuel and rear Tirechange, let the Pit-Menu open and than I drove into Pits without doing anything further. During the Pitstop it seems that all Tires were changed and not only the fronts as other cars that came in behind were released earlier.
Could it be that after the AI changes the adaptive AI gained some Horsepowers? Today i drove the last two races in my TCR Championship (drove last race before this update) i got destroyed on my "homecircuit" Sachsenring (21 of 23) and absolutly humiliated on A1-Ring, which i like and i am not a noob on it. The other 7 rounds i, if i finished, i managed always to get under the first 6. Im not complaining, just wondering.
I’ve been having similar experiences in single player. Seems like my pit stops take longer than the ai’s. I’m continually coming out of the pits way behind everyone I was surrounded by.
Finally got to spend a testing session. The long-waited-.for AI selector works like a charm, and is cleverly, ergonomically designed. Good solution! Driving in the new Porsche, was plesant, I like the loose feel of the car. Driving it in a cloud of DTM92, Tiuring Classics and NSUs at Spa - took me two laps and I was drunk like a sailor. Nice christmas presents, well done!
Not really sure what is considered a lot longer. In one race I was in a three way battle for first. We all pitted at the same time. They came out in 8th and 9th. I came out in 16th.
Hi @GregoryLeo could depend on how much fuel you put in / how many tyres you changed also pit entry and exit speed ?
I feel like the WTCR AI is a bit broken right now. I can compete with the DTM92 AI on 120, but see no sun against the WTCRs at 113... I need to go to something like 108 to be competitive. In a Multiclass Race with WTCC15/17 cars, the TCR AI could keep up with the slowest WTCC cars, which is quite weird imo. They seem to have a lot more grip on some corner exits than would be physically possible.
I noticed the same strange pitstop behavior. Last night I was racing first on Spa. Changing rear tires with fixing aero damage took 30s. Next race on Monza I changed only front tires and pit stop took 34s. I lost like 5 positions during that pitstop. Both races with gtr3 Porsche.
