And the free patch includes the new sound, weather and quality of life updates so there are more people playing RF2 than RRE and AMS2 put together. Meanwhile, the stock market responded with a record low close value for MG of just 72 cents, barely above 2% of their opening value in Jan 2021 and their 1st quarter financial report is due next Monday.
Some great stuff here with my hour or so. The three tracks look/feel lovely, and I like the difference between the two BTCC cars. More would be nice, but hopefully they're on their way. The non-official liveries are also shite atm. The new binaural sound stuff is fantastic with headphones. -The RSR and 'Vette GTEs sound great. I need to spend some more time with this again, and dial my VR settings in - The framerate is all over the place once I add AI in.
I’ve not bought the Q2 pack (will wait for testing to be completed by others) and I read the new sparks are causing frame rate issues. Odd as the RC build ran pretty well for most people.
Maybe increase particle density like in RRE? MG stocks are now down to 65 cents - a 98% loss in value. If they continue like this they´ll be worthless by the summer.
Check the official forum and Discord channel for updated on the graphical issues. I can't seem to cause sparks with the latest build even though the release candidate worked without issue with the allocated test cars (Formula Pro and the LMP2). According to Yahoo Finance, an earnings call form MSGM is due on May 16th at which time the share price will be at close to zero if the share price continues to lose 10% value each trading day. I wonder how the CEO justifies his $1.71 million salary to shareholders and how long Motorsport Games stays in business.
Today we take a look at the new Laguna Seca track with the Indycar. Enjoy the beautiful graphics, everything is set in Ultra Settings.
How do you like the FWD Corolla and how does it compare to the TCR's in Raceroom? I always liked the FWD cars.

There is a steam racing game sale on now with quite good discounts on this game and a few others like AMS2 and AC.
Large physics and sound update for the GTEs/Oreca. Their recent sound engine stuff was great, so I'm keen to see/hear what they've done here, particularly with the GTEs which is my main reason to keep dipping into RF2.
Classic Mini Coopers, Caterhams, and another BTCC car on the way.. In combination with everything that's come before them, It's been a solid year for RFactor so far.
Content is not going to save RF2 from the overall bad UI and UX, design, artwork... that sim has so many issues.
I'm not for a second saying it's perfect, but there's been considerably more going on than just more cars/tracks. I've certainly found myself dipping in more and more to fill some gaps that other sims don't cover, or even just for a change.
This Q3 content drop is underwhelming. Love the caterham being free; the pay DLC track and cars are okay. I know ovals aren’t my area of interest. Looks like MSGM will drip fed the BTCC content with other DLC for maximum revenue. Of course one can buy each DLC separately.
