Spa and Nordschleife preview with the Formula RaceRoom. I think the Nordschleife looks like from Race07.
Which I suspect is why they didn't want shots of it in such early WIP! Bearing in mind that this one is built from the laser scan and the Race one was not, I'd suggest that that is more of a compliment to the older version than a slight on the newest one!
The race 07 nordschleife is probably the best non lazer scanned version of it out their I'm not surprised the lazer scanned one looks similar.
The Nords came as part of the GTR Evolution expansion pack for Race 07. So, if you dont have that, you wont have the nords unfortunately. There are quite a handful of expansions for Race 07, and tough to keep track of
Damn, don't have that one, thought that was a stand-alone or expansion for GTR/GTR2 lol, will have to get it on Friday. Thanks for the heads up.
Nah, it was in GTR Evolution, bit is probably in a couple of bundles too (Race Injection certainly, Race On maybe).
All cry about nords, but i dont need it when other things not implemented. Like tyremodel, Dynamic Tracks, Fuel consumption etc. Thats important to get the status of a sim.
Is there any other sim that even have this yet? I can imagine that this will take years to get developed and implemented.. Fuel, flags and pit stops on the other hand is more urgent.
I just want say that it's ok when they release new content but i miss all the deep stuff which makes a sim to a sim and that include 'dynamic tracks'. And I miss a roadbook where we can see whats coming next. All just my opinion. R3e is a great game not more or less. Sound, physics, ffb are great. I can talk about because i have all Sims except Iracing. Rf2 is the money not worse. What a crap graphic, ffb is bad too, all or most of the content are modded. Don't know why ppl say that its the best sim, they never played r3e.
Doesn't AC have something like this? Rubber accumulating and grip level gain during a race? But apart from that, nothing on the market right now is actually a sim?
iRacing is deploying this new content right now and rFactor 2 has real road for a long time https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RFactor_2#Real_Road
I didn't disagree with you, I too miss more key features than content. I just thought requesting to get something so drastic as dynamic tracks before we'll get the Nordschleife was a bit over the top.
If you consider it essential then that's what you think. I think it is a cool feature, especially when we're talking about dynamic wet surfaces and drying, but rubber build up isn't as relevant as it might look. 1) Tracks are getting a basic clean after a race event, but they are never as spotless as the day they were opened. Maybe once a year the rubber is burnt off and even that doesn't get rid of every bit. 2) For most series the effect is marginal. Formula and endurance racing might actually feel a difference, but during a normal DTM or GT race the difference the build up makes really isn't that great. So while it might add realism in a way, it also lacks realism in it's own logic. What's much more influencial is track temperature, and the aforementioned weather conditions, which I agree would be awesome to have implemented properly, but it will probably take a serious amount of work to get it right. Just my pov.
