Just so you guys know, in the "future" update Zolders bumps should be flattened out more...still a bunch of pansies..
Yes, I am. I tried that but it's not "the solution" really. Immersion is lost, it locks all the movement as if you were siting at home in front of a monitor... wait. Well, I tried with different values and never had a satisfactory result. Adjusting the cockpit movement helps a little (I recently mapped it in keyboard) but doesn't solve it either.
I've been tinkering with the ride height on my setup to cope with the bumps, grabbed a quick screenshot for you guys...
Its exactly what I like about RRE so much : For my taste S3 found the optimal FOV in combination with cockpit movement (have it between 65-70) to create an unmatched immersion- which was one reason I had put aside AC almost immediately cause I found both (FOV /Movements) just strange, as if looking through a binoculars from the wrong side... And a car that (in turns) moves without me as a driver ? (What ?). Real Racedrivers are heavily fastened to their seats, and the suspension is anything else than forgiving...so guess its most realistic what S3 created here....With look-to-apex it would be perfect ......Dirt Rally also lacks of immersion (specially in cockpit view - but dashboard is a proper alternative) due to "strange" FOV values, but movements are okay.... Tried the "locking horizon" option too btw. - but meh !
Meanwhile at Zolder....... Cred to Oberg for driving the 'Children's Bouncy Castle' aka the Corvette.
I know all you guys are focused on Zolder right now.... "bouncy bouncy" Does anyone know what layout for Zndervoot we will be running next week? I have been practicing the GP... but wanted to make sure.
On the first page it says Zandvoort National, so the little one. p.s. you can delete or edit posts...
Don't know how that got voted on, but the one time I did race there it was a close action packed race.
Except for those slamming directly into the barrier after turn 3 .....just kidding, yes can be very thrilling to race the short layouts (with disciplinated drivers) its just Zandvoort GP is one of my favs - always a thriller to race it no matter which series
I will miss this one guys, and probably the next as well.. Don't think I will be able to join until the last round, Mid Ohio.
