I am tempted to do a talk and drive, but with all the meds I have after surgery, It would turn out posh, but I do think a revote between the top three would be really nice poor aquilla though, it deserved a better shot. but I guess it got out germany this time around
I'm more surprised at the TT polling as well as it did considering it's FWD, but yeah, I'm relieved the little E30 has endured and come through with a strong finish. The BMW has it from where I stand
My biggest worry is that I really suck with the BMW. Every corner the back wants to slide out... I guess I got to used to driving the silhouettes, and TT
Yeah, with the E30 throttle control is very important. If you're still sliding a lot mid-corner without applying throttle, the basic fixes for that are any of the following: add (more negative) rear camber, reduce rear sway bar, reduce rear spring stiffness.
Dumb question, I haven't messed with the set-ups. So do I want the car to be loose? I assumed that was how it was supposed to be with its set-up and characteristic or do I want it to slide less?
just make it comofrtable. on the lose end the car will steer in good, over tighten it and it wont turn in well enough, so you need to make up your mind per track.
It's all about finding a balance that fits your driving style. In general you want the car to be loose enough to handle well, but not so loose that the your inputs get mushy and slow. Here's the guide I use for my setups
I think it might be polling well bc it would be different from what we have done, fwd ,its a single car so close racing and it would mix things up...i.e the same people at the top might not be. Then throw in the p2p.
Thanks John. hmmm, well how the F do I classify my driving style? Other than the terms similar to inconsistent and bad, I am not sure. lol I guess I will have to figure that out.
@Pastor_Chris Just practice on them all mate, gonna race on them eventually always handy to know the track layout.
I know what you mean mate, I eventually classified my style as........................................Erratic!!
Anyway, Me and Tim have been testing out ways of doing live broadcasts of our up coming events, possibly having extras such as preshow and post show elements as well. and of course having it available on youtube sometime after the event. we also would like to incorporate interviews with the drivers via ts or skype, and other things. very open to having guests work with us on commentary as well. (keep in mind this is still in the testing phase and we are squashing bugs, one by one) we will likely be testing stuff out on the drop in events this week end, and next.
BMW DTM 92 . Can anyone beat me in that car? No becuse i am at home and its only a pixel man in the car.
