Any suggestions? ... For example: Europe British Touring Car Championship (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Touring_Car_Championship) ADAC Procar Series / DTC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADAC_Procar_Series) V8Star Series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V8Star_Series) Australia V8 Supercars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V8_Supercars) USA Automobile Racing Club of America (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automobile_Racing_Club_of_America) American Speed Association (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Speed_Association) Champion Racing Association (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Champion_Racing_Association) … oval track racing without NASCAR license issues SCCA Trans-Am Series (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Am_Series)
I'd rather get some more skinpack or series based on the current models available though, to be honest; Blancpain GT or earlier years of WTCC, for example. Wouldn't say no to V8s, but I'm having trouble liking the series due to their political moves towards the 12 Hours earlier in the year.
BTCC would be my choice by a mile as for me it's the most exciting touring car series out there, but unlikely to ever happen if rumours of Codemasters still having some kind of deal are correct. TCR International Series would be another suggestion. If it takes off (and I think it will) I think it could be more popular than WTCC as the organisers are trying to apply the hugely successful GT3 model to touring cars i.e. manufacturers building spec customer cars and no works involvement in running teams. Most of all, as this is an up-and-coming series looking for exposure, the licence should be cheap(ish). Japanese Super GT series - using the same regulations as the DTM. Makes sense if affordable. And of course STCC. It's on Sector3's home patch.
No need for new series. We have enough. I would like to have the option of longer races - endurance like. Prototypes are there, as well GT3 cars.
V8 Supercars are already announced, at least a couple of cars in a pack. But +1 for BTCC and also STCC!!
BTCC and STCC for me as well. The only American series I'd care anything about seeing would be Indycar. We already have 3 tracks they run on (Indy, Sonoma, and Mid Ohio).
Or confirmed. https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/known-upcoming-content-features.112/
In my Opinion ADAC Procar Series / DTC is getting so boring; it is not worth thinking of it as a part of R3E (it becomes a Mini Cup; I hope they will switch to TCR regulations). My Wishes: TCR International Series (!!!) STCC BTCC ETCC DTM/ITC (1994-1996) One classic Supertouring Car Series!!!
Just one....WEC http://www.fiawec.com/ In all my frankliness it is the best series in the world I am really insisting to have this one here
Whilst WEC is interesting to me (apart from the circuit selection, which I think is awful apart from Spa, Fuji and Le Mans), there's almost no point in licensing it for a game, when, out of a 34 car field: - Porsche's license is tied to EA (6 cars) - Ferrari's license is almost impossible (5 cars) - AMR's license seems prohibitively expensive (5 cars) - Toyota's license seems very difficult [some rumours say they won't allow damage to their cars] (2 cars) The only cars that would really be possible would be the LMP2 field, which I'm guessing is why no-one seems to be pursuing this IP. It seems weird to me when Project CARS is using the LM24 licence but only has 3 genuinely eligible cars, none of which are in the same class (R18, Oreca 03 and V8 Vantage).
V8SC would be sweet, maybe some older STCC/BTCC too. Most of all though I would like to see JGTC GT500 (from 1994 - 2004)
I didn't even know that Volvo raced in the V8SC. But I haven't watched since 2012. Volvo and Ford are apparently in, but not the car that matters... Holden. As much as I like many racing series, I would like any series to be complete before being offered as a pack. Personally, I do not see the appeal of the current touring car offerings. Probably a generation thing. I would like to see a Touring car pack from the 90's Combine the cars from various series into 1 fictional R3E WTCC Series. Individually, each car can be raced in it's original form. In the R3E WTCC series, each car's weight is increased/decreased to make the cars more equal. And with additional weight for wins, that should make for a wider variety of cars and a highly competitive environment. Volvo 850 (sedan) Honda Accord Alpha Romeo 155 Ford Mondeo BMW M3 sedan Dodge Stratus Did I miss any?
