Uh...that's the surprise I guess ? Well......I'm disappointed When comes eSport GT3, another round of DTM or even better eSport Multiclass Endurance/VLN ? Nonetheless many thanks for your efforts to host another Event, it's just I'm not a fan of modern TCs but I'll will wait forever for some real Supertourers from the Golden Age of BTCC, STW whatever, know what I mean.....
Welp...I'm not nearly good enough to compete anywhere. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Although I'm not particularly interested in driving, it'll be interesting to see how this will be when watching.
There will be 4 Divisions driving Multiplayer Races. So you should definitely have a chance Read the Rules
@Georg Ortner if we can't see the live on the Youtube Channel, can we have the replay/vod on the channel ?
https://twitter.com/Sadokist/status/850386236070121478 This man is one of the best eSports casters today (arguably the best CS:GO caster today), and is a huge motorsport fan. If you can get him onboard, I'm positive it'll add a lot more credibility to this.
This is excellent promotion for Raceroom and I am sure bottomline we will all benefit from it. Yet I must admit I am a little disappointed, as I thought the announced surprise would be something for us all and not "just" an event for the same select few that divided all such events amongst them so far. But I will certainly be going to watch the Broadcast to see some great simracing
Again, there will be 4 Divisions of drivers, all the way up to the final event, where we will crown 4 different champions of their respective division. That means drivers with all kinds of skills will have the chance to become a champion, and receive some cash prizes while doing so Of course there is never a guarantee that you will make it, but that is part of every competition
Hi, Nice to see this kind of official event! Even if FWD cards are not my preferred. In the rules I see in leaderboard part: and in race part: Does it mean that in every leaderboard we can use any car, but the car used for the first race will be the same for every race? Just to be sure... I think I'll try the first leaderboard, just to see how slow I am compared to the best drivers...
I would enter but my brains been damaged by the epileptic fit I had watching the trailer.......geeez flashy in the wrong sense
To be honest, this is a legitimate concern. You have to go to great lengths though to pull it off, since the Divisions will change every time the fastest driver improves his time. It's very tricky to find the right line between giving new and casual racers a fair shot, not angering the guys that spend hour after hour practicing, and also closing as many loopholes as you can. While still having a system that is easy enough to understand and managable. I hope we have found a new oppurtunity here. If not, and if we see that this system is just getting abused, we will make adjustments though.
Tried getting the rule book, but link didn't work. How is contact between cars going to be handled? Point system?
