Get really real! (damage) poll

But I love it, this game has all my spare time, I just think it's a simple and effective improvement.

prefer we have more damage effecting the driving , visually i dont care as im sat in the car and cant see it ...
we have punctures now , would like to get suspension damage front and back
after that i have a stupid wish list but none of it you can see ; just feel

Yes it should be simple to make the point of detachment earlier, and yes very effective for those who appreciate visual realism, particularly on the replays

I would also love physical damage too but I put the barrel rolling body armor issue before it personally.

Write a list of your ideas.
I promise I will not pull it to bits...
A list would be good, nice and clear for old farts like me.
Programming, net-code, muti-player and timeframe issues aside, a feedback list maybe good for sector 3 people to see.
Could be helpful to your cause.

The game is iincredible!
It seems a shame that the parts come off the cars but we rarely see it, whilst there is pile ups almost every 1st corner in online, sounds like the perfect addition to get real mode to me.

 

Even without losing part, a physical model like in AMS, where your wheel is at 45° when you have a rough contact, seems great for me...
Would be a nice addition, at least in Get Real mod...
And "barrel roll"=end of the race...

The amount of people who can't drive online is amazing. The amount of race ending crashes I could have been in due to others pulling suicidal manoeuvres or just braking way too late and I've kept going because the lack of damage is nice.

I believe if you want to keep racing after a crash then almost every other racing game out there is perfect for you, you have a choice of thousands!
Can we please just have one dam game that simulates real racing events, this game is so mighty close!!

I do understand and completely agree about the time wasting wrecker boys!
But it seems all sims have thus problem. When I carry on after a big crash I don't think "thank god for the body armour" it's not Mario kart! Lol, I think "shame, won't be saving this replay" :/

Clearly everyone is different but I assumed this game forum would be full of hardcore racing simulator fans.

is that a dig? if you dont believe the same as me your not hard core .....
we have tried stuff , and the moment you have to adapt to wear etc there are huge forum posts ...
its a tricky balance , i really dont care about bits flying off .. just some more specific wear areas/damage
At present time is better spent on non visual damage , and when the game switches across then do the visuals

Yes well done I had to phrase it many different ways as some were getting the wrong impression, like me asking for beamng damage or wanting a derby game.
