True, the people that moan on forums are a minority. I see this forum as a place for information and the rest is mainly negative. Yes people have problems and this is the only place where they can share them. Thousands of people are happy with the sim and a handful aren't.
If you want all cars free, send a monthly Paycheck to all Sector3 Employees. Guys, they dont work for free. And the cars are really cheap, for the work it's putting in them.
I whish it also went into proper triple screen support... I now have another nice car, which - again - looks warped. Sorry to mention this here again, but I do wish it to be implied "soon". All we had for now were promises...a lot of them... The MC is fun to drive though, just to stay on topic.
So, we like the car then...? I do, looks good. Great art work, again. Great sounds, again. Drives great. All good fun.
Well I'm pretty much fine with the Business Model. I just wonder that the pricing feels a bit imbalanced. For Example: The Starter-Pack costs 999vRP and contains 10 Cars with 126 Liveries and 5 Tracks. The 650s car + Livery-Pack costs 719vRP and contains 1 Car with 17 Liveries. Difference only 180vRP for more than the 8-times of Content. In Addition: the Price-Difference between Car and Car + Liveries is 320vRP. So 320vRP for 16 additional Liveries. With that ammount of vRP you can buy 11 Liveries! Most of the guys are fine with just one livery, some more with 4-6 but just very very few would buy 11 or even 16 Liveries. According to my experience, atleast the people that would buy 4-6 Liveries would buy the Car+Livery-Pack when the Difference would be just as half as high as it is now. When the pack-price is close to the price for 5 Liveries they will tendt to buy the pack instead and sp spend a few vRP more. So a win for the user get much more for slightly more money and a win for Raceroom who get more money as more people spend just a bit more.
Think the intention for those packs was mainly to please the request of being able to buy a car with all liveries in one go, not having to put them in the basket one by one.
I know I ranted and ranted about that one, I'm not the FR US biggest fan, but it will forever hold a soft spot in my heart as the car that gave me packs back. Now, in an effort to actually discuss the 650s GT3, I'm really enjoying it even though I tend to prefer the engine in the front. I tend to have to run a bit higher TC until I have adapted to it.
Now we have this car out of the way..... Which car should we all moan and complain - about not being released. Next?
The 'starter pack' is priced that way to 'help' new players. A discounted pack if you like. The clue is in the title. Honestly, this is all getting rather silly. If you think it is unfair, do something else. If you think it is too expensive, don't buy it. Do you unhappy people complain and haggle about everything you buy? If it really was not working, Sector 3 would of changed it years ago. They have not. Have you considered that maybe the new car has cost Sector 3 more money? Some of you people need to open your eyes, and think. No system is perfect for everyone, it cannot be done. It is a business, everything is more expensive today, than 5 years ago. Cost and pricing reflects this. The car is cool. Just buy it...x
yeah, maybe. But I wonder that it was possible in the old Store before. Example Audi TT Cup 2015, as I've just checked my Account-History. In the old Store I've bought the Audi TT Cup 2015 with all Liveries for 499vRP. For absolutely the same thing in the new Store you have to pay 729vRP. For me personally it is a difference I don't care about more liveries, as I barely make use of it and stick with the one I've selected while buying the car. This way Raceroom doesn't earn 230vRP more due to the higher price, they've lost 150vRP compared to the old price as I stick with the car and it's single livery. Just to be clear: I really don't have any problem with spending much money on Content for R3E, I just have a problem in wasting it...
Next time I buy a car or track I'll come here and complain about it. I'll get as much attention as others here and I'll be happy, although unhappy. If this makes no sense to you, that's ok. It just doesn't. Then I will answer a technical question by saying that all is fine with my computer. @ S3 Thank you for constantly working on this awesome game.
Yea, not arguing your points, just saying. That was a thing many people complained about and they kinda fixed it. You're right that they wouldn't have needed to, had they kept single car packs the way they were. But the person to explain why all this happened the way it did is not me, and I'm afraid nobody at the studio either.
And know you come to the point where you and maybe @Timmy L might get me. The "Don't buy it"-Option will be taken by much much more people and push them out of the game. That isn't good for everybody who likes R3E. The new users for example buy a Starterpack for very cheap 999vRP. Are happy and having fun with the content they've bought. result --> they want to buy more, go to the store picking a car. As they are used to have all Liveries available they are going to have a look for that.. result -->
