Released 02-06-2015 - RaceRoom has been updated

Not sure if I understand that right or it will help, since I don't have that error, but that "Raceroom has already started" only appears for me if I start R3E via the symbol/button at the steam-screen. This message doesn't appear if I start R3E via right-click on the steam-symbol in the taskbar and then left-click on RaceRoom. I always start R3E that way and it works for me.
Did you try that?

 

I got the same warning when I started it today, but the game DID start allright.

 

Hmm, than the warning or starting procedure is not the problem...

 

I have this issue too and it seems to me that if you click the button in steam it starts the game twice but if I use the desktop icon to start it's ok and runs fine .

That's not uncommon, my game does that and has for months but, it's working fine.

 

Is this the "failed to start - app already running" thing?

 

I just sign up here to say thanks for your great work! My T500 is so damn live now with the new transmission model, holy shit, the game feels nice to play, the FFb is superb and the sounds, well, I just ordered a 7.1 headphone because of it!! It is incredible amazing, wow great job guys!

Just a note, in my currency the game content is too expensive at the moment, I live in Brasil and just as a comparison, I will pay for the Group C content (having 2 cars already) the equivalent to 50% I paid on pCars game, which I think is too much. Not saying that don't worth it, but could be slightly cheaper. I bought almost all content in a Christmas sale, maybe I will just need to wait a bit.

Mine as well every single time and works just fine.

 

No problems here...enjoying the new sounds, AI and have jumped onto a couple of Dedicated servers with no trouble. Thanks.

I can hear sound in the background when watching replays. It's like when you hear someone on the bus having earplugs and listening to music.

i cant not start the Game!
I need help!

 

Driving with the new transmission physics and all the new sound effects i looked like this:
Absolutely amazing work! The cars are alive now, spitting, rattling and squeaking. Godlike...
Thanks to Anthony and the physics devs who made this happen. After years of dreaming finally
a sim that sounds like i always imagined a sim should sound like. I'm really impressed.

There's a small thing that sounds a bit off to me atm. Maybe i'm wrong but when shifting up i can hear
backfires, which is realistic of course, but the sequence is too long and i can still hear backfires while
the engine is already reving up again.

Apart from some little nagging issue. Like getting blank/black screen on my secondary account(No black screen on my main account on same machine ) and the issue i am having with making the Dedicated server work.

The update is huge !! I love everything about it.
I cannot believe that it was possible to make driving the Audi Quattro around more fun than it already was and yet they pulled it off.
Its a lot of little things that make this update so good.
Menu are fast and snappy. Loading a game single player/leaderboard or Mp is so fast now.

The best got better is an understatement. To me this placed the game above anything current in the sim world.
Keep up the good work. This is outstanding.

 

Totally Agree MeMots...I only have the Dedi problems, but I'm cool to wait.

 

Started a DTM 13 Championship (test) yesterday and watching the replay while practising I noticed some AI's were lagging and hovering like connected to a MP Server with very high ping - strange

 

Just had another session and the problem was gone. Maybe it's a temporary bug or i was imagining things
