My observations so far: 49“ Samsung 32:9 monitor bug Strange rumble sound with the V12 Formula car ( and only with the V12). V8 and V10 are okay. Fanatec F1-2019 wheel: Toggle switches up, right thumb wheel and rotaries still unfunctional.
The only elements I can move are the track map and the mini HUD. I can't even resize the mini HUD. Is there something else that's supposed to be movable?
Rumble sound? Could you precise in what situation this sound is audible please so I can try to reproduce it here? Thanks
You can move the virtual mirror as well. Mini HUD should be resizable. Use right mouse button and drag up/down.
Right, I forgot about the virtual mirror since I'm not using it. Resizing the mini HUD with the right mouse button doesn't work for me, though. That only works with the track map.
For sure, made a short video: The rumble sound is like wiond sound mixed into the revs sample. Also recognized a revolving tock - trock sound on the V10.
Note that Georg is referring to the mini Motec, the one that looks like the data display that's inside the car. That should be resizeable, the general black and white mini HUD cannot be resized. Default hotkey to toggle between them is 7. Just tried in Live and it worked for me. This one can't be scaled (due to some scaleform limitations iirc):
Are there changes with the FFB? like I said before, it's like something is missing or to low. You have to change the FFB multiplier up to 3 or 3.5 to get a normal FFB, but even then it's not like usually. The 90s F1 cars should have higher lateral effects in the Force Feedback I guess? But it's like this is completely low, even a GT3 has stronger effects/feeling in that area with FFB multiplier set to 1.8. There is definitely something wrong.
Tested they new FR 90s and hot damn this is fun. Dont know if it was sweat or tears of joy under my Rift. Most likley both. Tested all 3 on Nürburgring GP, found out that the V8 suited me the most (soundwise the V10 is for me most joy). After feeling confident enough, decided to join some MP Races. And damn now you know for what old tracks are build for. Did two race one on Silverstone on on Sepang. Silverstone was a blast of fun, these insane fast corners and lap after lap you found out you could even drive faster. Sepang on the otherhand is nearly undrivable, you can hammer down the straigths, yes. but the rest of the track dont even think about getting on the throttle. But all in all i am gotten faster into the car as in the Group C ones, it drives more "natural" to me. Thank you for this Gem.
Just talked to @Alex Hodgkinson about this and he seems to have an idea what might be causing it. He'll investigate, hang on for further info.
Did you try the stock setup? Note that brake pressure is at 95 % by default, so you could try increasing that if you haven't already.
When you buy the bundle you are paying less. When you buy everything separately you pay this percentage more.
I got into the cars and loved the way they sounded. I am not a F1 guy, so they are going to take a long time until I get the hang of them. Until then, I better get use to seeing a lot of this...
