Hello everyone, but has no one noticed the exaggerated strength of A.I in the offline championship? With Adaptive A.I mode, I can't even get close to CPU driven machines. I always find myself 16 (I run with 15 plus myself) with about 10 seconds from 1. Yes, of course I will certainly not be an expert driver, but I have never taken 10 seconds. I also noticed that they travel at a much higher speed while my car seems to have the handbrake on. Has anyone noticed this? Thank you
Today is the final of our Esports challenge - feel free to tune in at 19:00 CET (18:00 GMT) if you like. We race 3 tracks tonight!
Today we have a little special event: We invited the champions of various Esports competitions and simracing leagues across RaceRoom, iRacing, ACC, rFactor, Forza and F1 to compete in a DTM event. Live 18:30 CET / 17:30 GMT tonight:
Increase the 'Force Feedback Minimum Force' value. I think it's the same function as a 'linearity' or 'dynamic range' FFB adjustment in other sims/software.
There is a 'Steering Rack' value you could try reducing - take a look here.... https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/ffb-guide-december-2019.14067/
Lixma is right! In fact I increased the steering rack for DTM to 90 or even 100, that made the ffb feeling much lighter and easier to react to oversteering... On GT3 I use around 50...
Try them out by test drive at the Race Room Raceway. The BMW is more agile and brakes hard, the Audi more stable and overall a bit more sluggish. Both are fast. I once read a comment, saying "Audi=BMW" but i highly doubt it, the cars feel different.
Both cars are equal in terms of performance but they do handle different for sure. I prefer the Audi far more stable for as you pointed out. But my frustrations with tire wear still continue on all tracks. Not possible to do full 55mins + mandatory stop. I really hope someone or the devs can look into this and help me out. All other cars/groups tire wear is fine just these DTM 2020 cars that I do not understand.
What is going on with the AI of this car in Norisring? They keep slowing down/crashing in T1..as well as other turns of the track.
It's absolutely possible - Raido server hosts 30min races as standard and you can do the full race on one set of tires....but....you need to preserve them. If you're squealing around corners like Starsky & Hutch then your tires will dissolve before your eyes.
Problem is I loose around 7-9% tire wear depending on track just on my outlap alone. Not possible to do a full 55min race one stop on my end. I did post a screenshot a page or two ago. Any help will be appreciated.
