Pirelli branded tires makes me think of S3S maybe having Pirelli data to work from (for physics).

 

One thing I think of when seeing this is one other department R3E is still behind on, and that is driver textures..

You can imagine a faint silhouette of one ugly dude behind the wheel of every car, but the windshield makes it somewhat plausible.
Maybe that's why they have decided to rework / add new driver Models and animations?
They saw they wasn't up to date with the other content when testing these beasts.

Well... I suppose the bleeding edge of the speed envelope is what's currently missing in RR, but I have to say that I'm afraid of that car with these finicky physics... very afraid...

But I'm hoping that some goodies in the saner regions of racing are coming soon after or before this beastie. Besides, I have to admit that I still want this bad boy, in lots and lots of liveries.

 

Generally agree, but in those, just like in the open cockpit ones we already have, you barely see more than the helmet of the driver anyway.
But a higher res driver model is definitely needed...

 

Open wheel isnt something that I generally enjoy. Nevertheless, it is something that I am happy to see in R3E.

It does looked like GP2 though. The fictional liveries looks really good in my opinion.

 

I think they're going to be grand to drive and fun to run a custom schedule with as well. Are we still getting a formula ford/rookie type car as well? I'm still holding out hope for ADAC formula 4.
