Jeepers, I didn't know the thread was this long, but it figures with the topic. I want so many series, and so many cars in this WIP game. I'm hoping those 50 chaps making up S3 are happy to sweat out a few more goodies for us. What I'd love to see are something from: Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), lots of series, tracks and cars American LeMans Series (ALMS) IMSA TUDOR SuperGT 500 and 300, definitely FIA GT4, some lower powered love for tight competitive racing And whatever S3 can get their licensing mitts on in the 160-300hp range. I want to throw in some car requests too. Ferrari, as many as they can get. They used to be in GTR. I crave some F355, F40, F430, F599, Maranello and Diablo love. Woops, did I do that? Lamborghini, yes please. SRT Viper TVR, Sagaris and anything. Jaguar, you know you want to. Aston Martin, can't leave those bad boys out.
I know there have already been some historic racing suggestions. In a perfect world we would have historic cars racing on historic tracks. I appreciate we don't live in a perfect world so we need a series with historic cars racing on modern tracks. So I'd suggest the U2TC series or the Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars series. No Porsches or Ferraris so no exotic licenses - just Fords, BMWs (Mini license I presume is BMW) and perhaps Alfa Romeo. If you know of better racing and more fun driving than the kind seen in this video, I'd like to know.

This has probably been mentioned before, but Super Touring Cars would fit right into the R3E experience. Would really love to see a field of Alfa Romeos, Audis, Mercedes, Opels, and whatever else fits in. As a personal request, I'd love to see some fantasy stuff thrown into the mix. In particular, I know the BMW M1 Procar only raced in its own series, and the Audi Quattro is off dangling on its own. I was wondering if they could be spec adjusted and folded into a classic R3E Touring Car series.
+1 For Super Touring. But the Audi 90 will get company in the GTO class eventually. And when we get multi class you can mix the Procar with what ever cars you like.
I don't own it at the moment, but I'd be up for buying it when I can mix it in with the Group 5 grid; how similar is its pace?
My favorite series to add would be some historical ones (a nice market R3E could focus on, due to the lack of it on other sims (iRacing, Rfactor2 and AC)... DTM 1993 onwards (Alfa 155, Mercedes Class C, Calibra etc) BTCC from 90's WTCC from the Alfa 156/BMW 3 series/ Leon (2 of them are basically in the sim already) From present day of course i would like the WEC.. BUT... there are a lot of licenses that are tied up to brands or games. I think the IMSA TUDOR would be great.. another suggestion would be the Pirelli world challenge.
According to this livestream from December 2014 they wanted to do EU Formula 3 but were not ready to do it due to animations (and obviously the physics that come with it I guess). (Check the video @ 38:50) In another stream in 2015 they showed two images of a fictional GP2 car (the model has quite some details already, which is a pass that comes quite late in development so who knows how some this might come) so that might mean they have made steps in the open wheel department as far as physics and animations go. They also talked about a fictional Formula Ford car but no images. Spoiler images^ I would love the 2.0 and 3.5 series too. I think those might be the easiest or cheapest to get into the project (compared to GP2) but I don't know any figures of course.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. What we really NEED is GT Legends 2.... now that would be insane...

Not really a new series...Classic F1-Cars from the mid sixities with tracks like historic Kyalami, Silverstone, Spa,Watkins Glen,etc...that would be a dream. While I wait for mandatory pit stops to be implemented in R3E I have started a Championship in Race 07 with this old little goodie. Wouldn't it be something to bring back and revive this Retro Cool pack in R3E. With Mini Cooper S, Volvo Amazon, Volvo P1800 ES, BMW 2002 and maybe some other cool low powered oldies!?
I just stumbled upon this, which existence I had completly forgotten. (Start at 2:50) Looks like a ton of fun in multiplayer. However its propably untouched territory for the physics guys.
FT2013 is a hidden gem and quite a lot of fun. Buy it and take a truck for a ride around the Nordschleife.
