There is a very stupid question I have to ask, Would this be changing the in-game name to our SteamID then? Or will it still keep our real name?
Hmmm...got that. The problem I have with logging into anything using Steam is that Steam always asks for a confirmation. Usually this confirmation should be necessary only once per machine and browser. When you opened this forum for example I used the possibility to log in to it through Steam. It was the first (and last) time I ever used my Steam login for anything else but the Steam client itself. I actually had to confirm my Steam login nearly each and every time I tried to login to the forum. I guess it had something to with the fact that I have my Firefox configured to delete all cookies when I close it. But as you can imagine this was really getting on my nerves. I finally asked you to delete the Steam-related account so I could create a new "ordinary" one with the same name. Everything's working fine since @Jay Ekkel helped me out back then.
Sounds like WarThunder. I made an account with it but on login there's a Steam option, never had to enter any details.
No it will remain the same. This has no effect on contact list. Nothing. As long as you have logged into the game once, you will log in automatically as usual. You don't have to change anything. You will automatically sign in as usual. The change is more important for players that never logged in or players who were using the switch accounts. No. Your name will remain the same. Nothing will change for new users except you will no longer have to log in with e-mail and password.
Forum will also have steam integration? Or maybe profile link in R3E to forum or need PM on portal =) Wherefore we add friends in game, if we cant talk and say thx for wondefull race
