Feel free to test out just how durable your car is as often as you would like to in Single Player

This feature is only for MP races as far as I'm aware. Single player has no affect.

Great job with the pit limiter active shown at the new displays. Loving it.

 

Hmm must of missed that one, haven't noticed it..also I'm guessing not having pit limiter on automatically when you enter the vehicle is a new feature and not a bug?

 

Correct. This was changed in one of the recent patches. So, this is how it is intended.

 

Rev bar is flashing now, when the limiter is active, like its done in real sport cars.

 

Firstly thanks for the update, lots of goodies and I'm excited to see the VR improvements

I've numbered the quote above for ease of explaining below:

1 - I never noticed this in the Rift CV1 but have seen others mention it.
2 - Not tried it yet (still downloading) but could this be a precursor to G-Force effects? As they are needed with VR.
3 - By this do you mean Smoke & Dust? If so again like 1 I never had an issue, the smoke & dust "clouds" were just fine before, if it's something else then what exactly uses Particle Clouds?
4 - Disappointed not to see Bathurst in this list, as mentioned here (https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/ai-reporting-thread.7166/#post-103011) the AI line through The Chase is totally wrong, it makes me cringe every time and ruins a fantastic bit of track when racing them here. Along with McPhillamy Park AI entry (too narrow, also mentioned in that thread) Bathurst needs an AI Line update please.

 

The ai line through the chase has done my head in since the very first time I raced there... Shocked it hasn't been looked at by now.

Actually, now that I've calmed down, I see you didn't touch SALZBURGRING. Perhaps the bumps there are supposed to be there; either way, they add character to the back "straight".

Just noticed that my two favourite parts are complete opposites (sort of) - why am I not surprised?

What's about the DTM 2016 Audi Data Display?

 

That interests me too, I hope it will soon be an update.

 

Is there any news on when the steering rotation is going to be increased on all cars that don't have the increased rotation yet?? is was spoke about, but not seen anything in the updates for along while.

I saw yesterday in a test run only inside the WTCC cars from 2015 the new data-displays

The issue has been submitted in the internal bug tracking log.

 

If you play online at DTM2015 BMW and Audi to the selection has missing the pictures and at Audi are also missing previews or selected pictures of the paint.

Readme says the AI got better situational awareness. But as I see it this unfortunately means that fangs and claws had been considerably shortened. I am not put under pressure that much anymore than before, I pass the AI easier for it gives me room and falls back more easily, also AI versus AI results in far less attempts to overtake, and actual fighting for positions ans setting up a challenge.

I must admit this taming of the beast is too much of what is not my taste. Its like watching a Klingon nibbling gummi bears.
