I know exactly where your coming from mate, i have all the latest titles but I always seem to come back to RRE's Sakspeed Capri when I want a true driving experience. I like DTM & Adac GT3 cars too, I have DTME 2014, the way they stick to the road like vomit on a panel-van quarter-panel it's awesome and their really quick and responsive and easy to get to the limits of adhesion and keep there just full on awesomeness I still enjoy running AC, Pcars, rF2 and even Dirt Rally from Codies, its slowly becoming an awesome rally experience, but there's just something in RRE that's a little more rewarding and enjoyable.
