Released ADAC GT Masters 2018

Very old saying, "Happy Wife, happy life".

 

In anticipation of the 2018 season I did some practice with the 2015 season.
But ran into a problem with the tyre rules. What is rotating the tyres supposed to do?
Rotating implies to me it is supposed to keep the old tyres and switch them around but instead my tyres are replaced with new ones with zero wear.
What are they doing in the real life adac series with the tyres during pitstops?

 

Silly question I know but did you have tyre wear on?

 

Yes I used tyre wear. Adac 2015 ruleset. The tyres are yellow according to the hud and below 70% according to the in car display. After the pitstop 100% and full white bars. I'm pitting in the pitting window and using the 2015 adac cars. Same result with the 2014 ruleset. @Andi Goodwin

 

Nothing. In ADAC GT Masters tyre change is only allowed in case of a damaged/punctured tyre.

 

quick question , did you use the adac 2015 rule set or a custom one

... or Weather-Change (Wet --> Dry or Dry --> Wet)

In addition it is allowed to adjust Tyre-Pressure during the mandatory Pitstop.

 

There is an alternative saying!

No wife, no strife, no being late, no soaps, no shopping, no in-laws, no annoying friends, no flowery anything, no mediums, no sensible car, no, no motorbike................................................................ best of all, your rig slap bang in the middle of your living room, with no scented candles, potpourri or seat cover matching the curtains.

Case closed!

I have a nicely converted garage for my "man cave", she said it'd my space and I can do anything I want in there, which works well for me. She hasn't discovered the two hot blondes I have tied up in there yet though, obviously....
