they did mention low-cost additional paid content when AMS was announced, as people were arguing whether R3E model of custom choice, or AC/pCars like DLC package makes more sense. Both would suffer from fragmentation which what people worried about, although an issue that will not really go away from many games today...
...and the Mini Cooper which easily dispels the myth that front wheel drive isn't fun. They're a blast. I would be more in favour of the R3E approach instead of DLC packs. The modular sales model of R3E is a very good concept however I feel Raceroom made many mistakes in its implementation, in other words: too expensive, too complex, asking customers to double/triple dip on content they already own, etc... Reiza would have the opportunity to learn from those mistakes and do it better.
